Instructional Design Projects

Distance Ed and Down Syndrome

I designed and implemented this project for 321 eLearning, a company in Texas dedicated to the support of the Down Syndrome community. Together, we explored the gaps in the company’s online education services and identified areas for improvement. Using the ADDIE process, I created a plan for designing and developing an online, micro-learning course in Articulate Rise.

The Show Must Go On

For this project, I served as an instructional designer and subject matter expert on a 3-person team. With the goal of increasing customer satisfaction in mind, we conducted a front-end analysis to find gaps the event-related business operations of the Campus Life department at UNCW. The team identified areas of the staff training program in need of improvement and proposed a 5-phase plan to achieve the desired results.

NHCS Employee Orientation

I provided instructional design and content development services for this project. We worked closely with a school district to design and develop a computer-based instructional module for use in individual schools.

Canvas: Transforming Classrooms Across the State

I served as one of three instructional designers for this project. We worked with a highschool to develop a change management plan for their transition to the Canvas LMS. The team conducted a needs analysis and proposed a detailed plan for the transition.

Introduction to Live Sound

This project involved designing and developing the curriculum for a rapid e-learning tutorial for student employees. I conducted a goal and task analysis, identified the lesson topics, sourced media, and developed the content in Adobe Captivate.
