In this role, I oversaw event management for the Conferences, Events, and Reservations unit in Student Affairs at UNCW. I provided supervision, training, and mentorship of student staff and full-time employees. My responsibilities included planning and supervising the implementation and support of audio-visual equipment in Campus Life facilities, management of student and professional staff work assignments, resource inventory and purchasing, and project planning and implementation. As the Instructional Designer Intern for the Conferences, Events, and Reservations unit at UNCW, I was responsible for designing and developing training content utilized by clients and staff to facilitate the use of media technology. I conducted an analysis of the organization and the intended audience, identified various needs, and proposed a project plan to provide an effective training solution. I then designed and developed an infographic congruent with company standards and stakeholder needs, conducted an evaluation during a trial period, and finally implemented the product in both online and paper formats.
Technical Coordinator

In this role, I provided technical support, logistics planning, management, and consulting support for team members, clients, and staff. I modified existing online and instructor-led training content, designed, developed, and implemented course modules, and created graphic content and e-learning materials with Adobe Captivate. I consulted on projects as a technical subject expert with effective verbal and written communication, provided recommendations for future planning and expenditures, and reported on data analytics for client satisfaction and unit success. I also served as a mentor, supervised staff professional and personal development, managed onboarding and training entry-level employees, and provided oversight of daily staff duties and responsibilities.
